Welcome to GDot Solution

A water treatment facility is an establishment that employs a variety of processes to eliminate impurities from water, ensuring its safety for consumption. The specific methods utilized are contingent upon the water source and the types of contaminants present. Typical processes involved in water treatment include:

  1. Screening: This process eliminates large debris, such as leaves and branches, from the water.
  2. Aeration: This introduces oxygen into the water, aiding in the removal of certain contaminants.
  3. Coagulation: This involves the use of chemicals to aggregate small particles, facilitating their removal.
  4. Flocculation: This process employs chemicals to encourage the formation of larger particle clusters, which can subsequently be removed through sedimentation or filtration.
  5. Sedimentation: This allows larger particles to settle at the bottom of a tank for removal.
  6. Filtration: This method utilizes filters, such as sand or activated carbon, to extract even smaller particles from the water.
  7. Disinfection: This process employs chemicals, such as chlorine, to eliminate any harmful bacteria or viruses present in the water.
